Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you (and the restaurant you sign up for) and Confota. By creating an account or using Confota you accept them. If you use Confota for a business, you confirm you can accept for that business.

Your account

Keep your password and PINs private and tell us if you think someone else used your account. Owners decide who joins their restaurant and what role they have, and are responsible for their team's use of Confota.

Plans and payment

New restaurants get a 14-day free trial with no card. After that you can stay on the free plan (one location, up to 10 staff, basic features) or subscribe to the full plan, currently $149.99 per month per restaurant, billed in advance by card through Stripe. Prices can change with 30 days' notice. You can cancel anytime in Plan & billing; the plan stays active until the end of the paid month and we don't refund partial months, unless the law requires it.

Your data

Your restaurant's data belongs to you. You let us store and process it only to provide Confota, as described in our Privacy policy. You can delete your account at any time in the app.

Acceptable use

Don't use Confota to break the law, harass people, send spam, upload harmful files, or try to get into other restaurants' data or disrupt the service. We may pause accounts that do.

Your responsibilities

Confota helps with scheduling, pay, tips, food costs and food safety, but you remain responsible for following labor, wage, tax, tip and food-safety laws and for checking payroll before paying. AI features (like invoice reading and summaries) can make mistakes; review them.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Confota running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may improve, change or remove features. If we stop the service we'll give owners at least 30 days to export their data.

Disclaimers and limits

Confota is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Confota is not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending

You can stop using Confota and delete your account anytime. We may end or pause accounts that break these terms or don't pay, after notice when possible.
